In order to strengthen the treatment of elderly inmates in Taichung prison, activate the content of progressive corrective treatment and establish positive interpersonal relationship between elderly inmates through group activities to express emotions, stabilize emotions and strengthen cognitive functions, thereby increasing self-assurance and adaption the environment, the social worker and consulting psychologist of Rehabilitation and Education Section has opened a psychological support group at one of educational block in Taichung Prison .
This support group used board games and emotional healing cards to let elderly inmates to share the recent life situation, strengthen the emotion relationship between group members and deepen the narrative of life experience.
