The magic cube contest was designed to strengthen inmate’s eye‑hand coordination and make their acumen greater. This event was also expected to create more recreational activities for the elderly disabled prisoners and encourage more of them to join different games in jail for better health.
The finals were took place in the auditorium of Zhong educational block, and the section chief Wu of the Edification and Education Section delivered a speech to encourage the cube solvers.
Elimination round was adopted and made this game another tough and exciting sports event in the jail. Finally, after intense competition, four top cubers from the general group and one champion from the senior and disabled group won the contest.
