The group class, “Connecting in Play, Connecting You and Me” started in the prison from February 6th to April 10th, 2023. The focus of the arrangement was to assist the recidivist felonies who are not eligible to apply for parole develop positive and healthy interpersonal skills. Tabletop games were used in the course to create a "listening space" for positive interpersonal interactions, in which participants narrated their life stories and this helped them develop the right attitude to respect others as well as learn good social skills. In addition, with the support and assistance of group dynamics, the participators rediscovered the fact that they can be helpful to others and then further built up their self-affirmation.
