“Crystal Life, See Through What Soul Needs,” a three levels of prevention treatment program for drunk driving, was launched to tackle the prisoners’ alcoholism problem, and to help the addicts realize the relationship between physical ailments and alcohol consumption from March 1 through April 6.
The course was designed based on the theories of expressive arts therapy. The spiritual healing tools such as crystals and singing bowls were utilized as mediums and the mind-body-spirit therapy was also included to help participants learn self-care strategies and understand alternative options to relieve stress not just alcohol, therefore, the learners knew more ways to de-stress, then increased their motivation to make change.
