“Heart connection”, a group course of interpersonal support, was held to help the recidivist felonies who are not eligible to apply for parole to reinterpret their life stories and imbuing them with new meaning. Psychodrama, an action-based therapy, was adopted in the course to give participants the opportunity to play the roles of protagonists, auxiliaries and audience in the acting to promote their spontaneity and creativity. In addition, through interactive performances and internal dialogues, the process has provided the members an outlet for emotion, led to greater self-awareness and established internal strength, also allowed them to experience the interactions and support in interpersonal relationships.
