Taichung Prison specially arranged a film screening event of the director Wei Te-sheng’s latest film, “BIG,” inside the jail in hope to help inmates appreciate life’s value and be optimistic about future. The film portrays the heartfelt stories of six groups of families from different social classes and perspectives in pediatric oncology ward Room 816, where quarrels always occur but sincere support also show up at critical moments. With this chance, we hope the prisoners get to think about their life again and be brave to overcome whatever challenges they encounter in life.
