To boost Chinese New Year atmosphere, the prison arranged the “Spring Festival Couplets Calligraphy Writing” activity from the middle of December 2024 through the beginning of January 2025. The inmates with talented calligraphy ability were encouraged to improve their specialty so to be elected to write spring couplets at their workshops for the activity. The completed couplets were given away at the prison’s reception room to the families when they come to visit inmates in hope to warm up their family connection and support.
