Taichung Prison invited the health care providers from its affiliated Pei-De Hospital to conduct an infection prevention and control awareness training course to enhance the prison guards’ proficiency to cope with the epidemic of respiratory and diarrheal diseases. The training focused on reinforcing the importance of proper hand hygiene and isolation precautions so to prevent cluster infections within the facility.
