Prior to Mother’s Day, Taichung Prison held a reunion activity sponsored by Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. Taichung Branch Office. With this chance, a total of 4,987 inmates were able to make free phone calls to talk with their family before Mother’s Day so to ease their emotional distress arising from being apart from loved ones during the holiday.
