In order to strengthen edification activities and increase the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year's Day during the Spring Festival, Taichung Prison arranged various cultural and health activities during the Lunar New Year, for example, the traditional Spring Festival call-to-mother activity, the voice of Peide radio broadcasting spring festival programs and music.

In addition, on February 3th, Taichung Prison arranged the Lion Dance Group to every central station of educational block and factories for sending New Year's greetings and sugar-giving activities to add to the atmosphere of the Festival.
