In line with the policies of the competent health authorities, Taichung Prison, in cooperation with the Nantun District Health Institute of Taichung City Government, held the last time of 2020 influenza vaccine injection which is free of charge to those who wished to be vaccinated and who were in a good health condition on February 22, 2021.

On the same day, medical staff from Nantun District Health Institute entered the prison to provide influenza vaccination for inmates and staff after health assessment. The number of inmates who were vaccinated is 533 and the number of staff is 6; The total number of people vaccinated against influenza in 2020 is 1,547, with 50 employees.
