To enrich educational activities, develop inmate’s exercise habit and enhance their overall well-being, the volleyball preliminary round was held in every educational block in the jail starting from October.  Thereafter, thirteen winning teams, consisting of a total of 130 inmates, advanced to a three-day volleyball final round from November 14th until 16th.  Apart from instilling a sense of honor in the participants, this activity was aimed to help inmates understand the importance of teamwork and team cohesion through the competitive process, and the jail also timely advocated the spirit of "not becoming arrogant in victory and not devastated by defeat" so to achieve the dual-purpose of education and entertainment.
