The result of the 3rd Da-Ho Award of microfilm competition was announced on March 7th, 2023. The Peide audiovisual multimedia team of Taichung Prison delivered the goods and won the Popularity Award in the national social group by the self-produced microfilm, Prison Way, which stood out among nearly a hundred entries.
Without external assistance, the film was entirely made by the inmates themselves with experience in front of and behind the camera, utilizing available support and resources through collaborative efforts. True to its title "Prison Way," the film faithfully documented the inmates’ real personal experiences, not only attempting to confess their past mistakes, but also hoping to declare to society through the film that imprisonment can be a journey towards redemption and enlightenment, leading to a brighter future.
