Stay Active the Elderly! (2023/2/7-2023/4/11)

The program, “8 Tips to Keep in Good Health and Stay Active”, was designed to assist the elder inmates to face aging better and started from February 7th until April 11th, 2023. The course included mindfulness and Baduanjin qigong exercise, and the participants were guided to begin with warm-ups, pay attention to breath, be aware of bodily sensations, then experience the sense of accomplishment and relaxation brought about by the interplay of movement and stillness. All of these would help the participators regain their exercise habits from youth and engender positive alterations in emotion through physical activation, also allow them to obtain comprehensive physical and mental nourishment, thus they can maintain their physical function and slow down aging.
